Using M for data access in Analysis Services Tabular v.next, Chris Webb

The next release of SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular will allow you to use the M language and a Power Query-like UI to load data into your model. In this session you’ll learn why this is such a significant change. Topics covered will include:

• How the new functionality changes the way SSAS data loading works
• New data sources that this supports
• When you should transform data in M while loading and when you shouldn’t
• Creating partitions
• Migrating from Power BI to Analysis Services

Få en gennemgang af mulighederne for at lave en BI løsning i Microsoft Azure baseret på konkrete erfaringer fra et kundeprojekt.
